Ted Dexter - Dealer Principal/Owner

Ted, originally from Nelsonville, dabbled in cars all of his life while selling insurance.  In 1998 he acquired Wheels and Deals of Middleport from lifelong friend, John Neville; started his career as an automobile dealer. 

On May 25, 2020, Ted acquired 308 E. Main Street in Pomeroy and moved Wheels and Deals to its current location and expanded the entire inventory. 

Ted loves spending time with his wife, kids and grandchildren. In his spare time Ted loves watching football, messing around with cars and playing in his garage.

Jamie Dexter - Operations

Jamie is a former Auction Manager and has been in the car business for 10+ years. She has one daughter named Taylor. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her husband Ted, doggies, and entertaining.

Jake Canterbury - Sales Manager /Finance

With over 6 years of experience in the car business, Jake is dedicated to helping customers find the right vehicle while making the buying process smooth and enjoyable. Married to his wife, Alyssa, and proud father of 4, Jake values family both at home and in the community he serves. In his free time, Jake enjoys spending quality time with his family, going mudding in his Jeep, watching football, and unwinding with a good game of NCAA Football. His passion for people and commitment to customer satisfaction make him a trusted and respected part of the Wheels & Deals team!

Tom Sheppard - Sales Specialist

Tom Sheppard grew up right here in Meigs County, where he spent much of his time racing motocross and playing football for Southern Local. With over 8 years of experience in the car business, Tom has built a strong reputation for his knowledge, honesty, and dedication to helping customers find the right vehicle for their needs. When he's not at the dealership, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, making family his top priority. His favorite part about working with the community is seeing the excitement and joy his work brings to customers when they drive away in a vehicle they love!

Ray spent most of his career as a Market Developer for Snyder-Lance before retiring and joining the Wheels and Deals team as a Sales Specialist in 2018. A lifelong friend of our owner, Ted Dexter, Ray has always valued strong relationships and community connections. Outside of work, Ray enjoys golfing, bowling, dining out, and most importantly - spending quality time with his family and friends. His dedication to people and passion for helping others make him a valued part of our team!

Chasidy has lived in Meigs County her whole life! Married to Travis for 24 years and has 2 daughters. When she is not at work, she enjoys working with her chickens and riding motorcycles!

Timmy is the son of our owner, Ted Dexter.  He has moved positions from being an amazing detailer to becoming an outstanding mechanic! Timmy has been with Wheels and Deals for 15 + years. Timmy enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, 3 kids, cars, and music .

Mike Clay - Service Tech/ Detail Manager

Mike is a longtime friend of the Dexter's. Mike is an excellent detailer and a progressing Mechanic. In his spare time, he enjoys mudding in his jeep, spending time with his girlfriend Shelby, and watching Tik Toks.

Jacob Bryan - DETAIL

Jacob started with us in September 2024. He is an excellent detailer! Jacob has a 2-year-old little girl that he loves spending time with. In his spare time, Jacob likes going mudding in his Jeep, working on cars and spending time with his family.

Brandon Holley - Detail

Born and raised in Meigs County, Brandon joined our team as a detailer in July 2025! He has a daughter that he enjoys spending time with. When he is not at work, he enjoys Jeep riding and working on cars!

HUNTER STEWART - LOT TECHNICIAN

Born in NC, Hunter moved to the Meigs Co area shortly after. He enjoys hunting, riding motorcycles and hanging out with his girlfriend Kayle. Hunter has been a longtime friend of the Dexters! He does a phenomenal job with the Lot upkeep and always being willing to help in any way!
